The Lift Industry Mental Health Charter held its inaugural Golf Day last weekend and was a resounding success — raising around £5,000 to support mental health awareness and services across the industry. Held under glorious skies on a stunning course, the event brought together 40 participants, 10 generous sponsors, and a shared commitment to breaking down the stigma around mental health.
Event Highlights:
- Competitive spirit with awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, plus 2x Longest Drive and 2x Nearest the Pin
- Evening karaoke with 15 attendees and 10 brave singers who lit up the night 🎤
- Community and conversation at the heart of every swing, song, and smile
🎉 A special congratulations to our overall winner, Mike Burke of A&M Consulting, who took home top honours!
But this day was about more than just golf and karaoke. It was about bringing people together, having fun, and starting open conversations around mental health — something we all need to prioritise.
Thanks to the incredible support from players, sponsors, and guests, we’re already planning next year’s event — and yes, karaoke is officially here to stay!
To everyone who played, sponsored, supported, or sang — thank you. You’ve helped make a real difference.
