September 5, 2022
Our next Macmillan Coffee Morning will be held on Friday 30th September 2022 from 9.30am at our office at 144 Station Road, London E4 6AN.
When we realised we’d raised a whopping £1000 at last year’s Robert Gerrard Macmillan Coffee Morning, to say we were over the moon was an understatement. That fantastic amount covers 10 people affected by cancer attending a well-being event to equip them with the skills they need to get through their journey, or supports a huge 6,000 people getting access to emotional and practical support via an online forum.
If we can get anywhere near last year’s total at this year’s event, we’ll be delighted. And with Team RG on the cake baking case, and so many generous supporters, we’re pretty confident that we’ve got a good chance of smashing it!
The event will take place on Friday 30th September at our Chingford Office (London E4 6AN) from 9.30am. Pop along and you’ll be treated to an array of sweet and savoury delights, all lovingly crafted by the fair hands of Team RG.
We won’t be revealing the precise details of the indulgences on offer this year till the night before but, suffice to say, your taste buds will be tantalised!
Here are some of last year’s treats to give you a taste of what could be on offer for 2022…

Macmillan Cancer Support – donations vital
Macmillan Cancer Support is almost entirely funded by donations and simply cannot support the growing number of people with cancer who need them without the public’s help. Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. There are over 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK and this is set to grow to almost 4 million by 2030.
With this in mind, every coin that goes into our donation tin or is pledged via our fundraising link counts.
If you can’t make it on the day, we’ll miss you, but you can make your presence felt by donating using this link:

We’ll be keeping you updated with tempting cake-worthy teasers on our social platforms over the next few weeks, so please be sure to connect with us on LinkedIn , Facebook and Twitter to keep up with our baking escapades!
Thank you so much in advance for your support.
