How Your Independent Broker is Improving its Service
As an insurance broker trading since 1971, we are proud of our independence and the personal, attentive and fully tailored service we are able to offer our valued clients. Independence however does bring its challenges. We therefore made the decision to become part of Broker Network, the UK’s largest network of independent insurance brokers. The organisation focuses on supporting community-based brokers like us to retain independence whilst providing access to exclusive insurance products and administrative support. As recently upgraded Premier Members of Broker Network, we are able to share a number of valuable benefits with our clients whilst remaining fully independent.

24,000 vehicles were stolen in London in 2014 according to the Metropolitan Police, 6,000 of which were taken without access to the owners’ keys. Here we discuss the risks, and how to protect your keyless entry vehicle.
Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome: Managing the Risk
Hand-arm vibration stems from the regular use of hand-held power tools. It causes painful and disabling disorders of the nerves, joints and blood vessels leading to tingling and numbness and eventually a loss of sensation in the hands and fingers and an inability to grip objects. Fines handed out by the HSE for failings related to HAVS are known to reach six figures, demonstrating that this is a problem that is taken exceptionally seriously. Employers can take the following steps in order to mitigate the risks associated with HAVS.
Road Crash Index – How you Can Help Support this Vital Campaign to Reduce Road Deaths
Over 250,000 people have been killed or seriously injured on Britain's roads in the past 10 years: that’s more than 70 people every day. Furthermore, £36 billion is lost in road crashes every year representing 2 per cent of GDP: that’s more than the country spends on GP services and primary schooling combined. These statistics are unacceptably high, which is precisely why the Road Crash Index was developed. The Index is part of a collaborative campaign between Ageas UK and the Road Safety Foundation. It aims to reduce the number of people killed or seriously injured on Britain’s roads to zero.
Buildings Reinstatement Value: Why Getting it Right is Crucial
If your property was to be completely wiped out due to a fire or some other disaster, could you safely say your buildings insurance would sufficiently cover you for the full reinstatement and rebuild costs? The importance of getting it right when it comes to buildings reinstatement value cannot be over-emphasised. Yet it is one of the most common errors made when insuring a building.
